Moon Information and Moon Advice
- The moon in waxing phase:
- This is the time when the moon is going from the New Moon phase to the Full Moon phase.
This is a good time to start new projects and generally to acquire new things in your life. This is usually a good period for everybody. On certain waxing periods, there seems to be more stress than usual.
- The moon in waning phase:
- This is usually a period of time that things are a little rough. The waning period is from the day after the Full Moon to the New Moon.
This was originally regarded as a bad time for all creatures. Most of the time people kept to themselves and didn't start new projects during this period.
Nowadays, people realized that things can be achieved during this period in a reverse way of thinking. Since the waxing moon was good for achieving things, the waning moon is good for ridding yourself of undesirable things of your life (break-up of a relationship, losing weight, etc.)
- Why the moon is so important:
- Being closer to us than the sun and having a profound effect on the water of this planet, the moon has long been ignored by the "common day" astrologers as a relevant body that affects the people and social aspects of the human race. The moon is second in importance to the sun as far as our daily lives are concerned.
- About the moon:
- The moon goes through a twelve signs of the zodiac in a lunar month (about 28 days). About every two days, the moon enters a new zodiac sign and therefore has a profound influence to all of us. To know the moonphase is to be prepared for the days to come.
